  • “During the report period, two survey cruises were completed off Oregon; 96 tows were made in the fall of 1966 and 173 in the spring of 1967. Cruise reports were written for each cruise. In addition, logs showing tow location, length, catch, and other data were distributed to interested fishermen after each cruise. Estimates of population, sex, and age composition were made from data collected. These data are discussed and compared to each other and to data collected in March 1966, Two short cruises off northern Oregon were made to test shrimp pots. Shrimp apparently move off-bottom at night, the smaller ones more so than larger individuals. Feeding may be connected with the movement…” (from the Abstract)
