Honors College
The University Honors College requires a senior thesis for receipt of OSU’s most prestigious degree, the Honors Baccalaureate. Working with a three-person committee an Honors student undertakes original scholarly or scientific research or completes a creative endeavor. The thesis is intended to provide an opportunity to synthesize and apply knowledge gained in a new and original fashion. Honors students gain a level of insight and expertise not customarily afforded to undergraduates absent a thesis experience.
