Abstract
  • The purpose of the Oregon Fish Commission's Columbia River Seal Control Program was to harass seals and reduce their predation on salmon in the river. The effectiveness of the program could not be effectively demonstrated. Fishermen were surveyed and indicated support for not hiring a seal hunter for the following year.
