Abstract:
Eastern Oregon’s climate presents special challenges
to home gardeners. A short growing season
and cool nights make it difficult to grow warmseason
crops. Nevertheless, by choosing the right
varieties and providing extra protection to your
plants, you can enjoy a productive and successful
