Abstract:
Young trees (those with a trunk
diameter of less than 6 inches) can
benefit greatly from regular applications
of fertilizer. Research has shown that
when these trees receive nitrogen
fertilizer, they grow faster, develop a
denser canopy, and stay green longer
into the fall.
