Abstract
  • Death is a part of life. It is as much a part of the human experience as birth. Yet death has become a taboo subject in this culture. Perhaps this is because death does not take place in the home as often as it once did. When people died at home, death was shared by all family members. Today, death usually occurs in a hospital, far away from the family circle.
