| dc.description.abstract | This report summarizes program progress in FY 1974. Activities were directed entirely at completing the third of four phases of work started in 1971. The survey conducted in September 1973 was the second run over the continental shelf off the northern Oregon coast. Objectives of the survey were to obtain estimates of biomass of fishes occupying the continental shelf with particular emphasis on flatfishes. We are also indexing year-class strength of flatfishes important to the commercial fishery prior to their recruitment to the fishery. | en_US |
