Abstract

"The purpose of this research is to determine whether or not the values of residential properties located near public park land are affected by their locational relationship to said park land. Stated in the form of a specific hypothesis for this study, this becomes: Using assessment data as a measure of value, residential property adjacent to a community park will have a higher value because of park location than similar properties not located adjacent to the park."--P. 1.
