Abstract:
In Abundant Love, a collection of nine short stories, Chris McDonald explores intersections of domesticity, technology, and the natural world by examining characters who encounter or manufacture unyielding social structures that psychologically confine them. Most of the stories take inspiration from zoological or botanical concepts, and many elucidate the contemporary LGBT experience.
