Abstract
  • The implementation of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) and the Integrated Maritime Policy (IMP) requires scientific advice in many different fields such as marine biology, marine ecology and fishery economics. A wide range of fisheries data needed for scientific advice is collected, managed and made available by the Member States (MS) of the European Union (EU) under a general framework called the Data Collection Framework (DCF).
