Donna Defoe is currently a cook at one of the schools in Lakeview. This inter-view was conducted in her living room. Behind her stood a TV that had a baseball game on, the whole thing was muted for my benefit.

The field site for the summer 2007 Anthropology 499/599 Ethnographic Field School class was Lakeview, Oregon. The class researched questions concerning the quality of life in Lakeview for young people, the elderly, and people with low incomes.
