Abstract
  • Salinity, temperature, oxygen, phosphate, nitrate and silicate observations were taken by Oregon State University on 17 hydrographic cruises in the Northeastern Pacific Ocean during 1966. Alkalinity, pH and total CO2 were taken on special occasions. Nine cruises were taken along the Newport line. The rest were special cruises made off Depoe Bay, Oregon, and in the Columbia River plume.
  • Data were collected by Oregon State University personnel aboard. the R/V YAQUINA. The observations were planned to survey conditions off the Oregon coast and particularly to monitor temperature and salinity distributions along a latitudal tract at 44° 39. 1'N.
