Grandparenting has become a phenomenon of middle age rather
than old age. As such, grandparents may be experiencing some
mid-life crises of their own such as career change, divorce, widowhood,
dating, remarriage, or health problems. They also may
be concerned about the care of their own older parents.
Parents play many roles as they guide their children’s developing food habits: model, teacher, mediator, provider, stage manager, and director. We’ll discuss these in the four lessons of Food for Tots.
