Our major effort since initiation of this contract has been directed
toward (1) procuring the gamma-ray spectrometric equipment and integrating
the components into an operational system, and (2) analyzing
the samples obtained from the midwater trawl program of the Department

This report covers the first full year of operation of our gammaray
spectrometry facility. A part of the contract period was devoted
