Abstract
  • This is the third study of farm labor the Agricultural Experiment Station has completed for the Oregon Strawberry Commission. The first was completed for the 1987 harvest season. The second was completed for the 1989 season. This report covers the 1990 harvest year. The strategy for this study has been to seek basic information, such as labor demand and productivity in each survey for the comparison of trends over time. Additional questions are investigated in each survey that are of timely interest to growers and may not be repeated every year. The report this year will cover information of continuing and special interest.
