Abstract
  • Soil compaction can happen whenever machinery, livestock, or people travel on the land. On woodlands, compaction is most likely to be caused by logging equipment such as crawler tractors and rubbertired skidders.
  • Declared out of print December 2009. Facts and recommendations in this publication may no longer be valid. Please look for up-to-date information in the OSU Extension Catalog: http://extension.oregonstate.edu/catalog
