Abstract
  • The following trials were conducted to compare different silages as a base for a growing ration. The objectives were, 1) to compare the growth performance of light and heavy calves on corn, corn cannery waste, milo, sorgho-sudan, and peavine silages at two levels of concentrate supplementation; 2) to determine any carry-over effects the above might have during the finishing period or on carcass quality.
