This paper reports on a study of Icelandic government
expenditures on fisheries and fisheries management during
the period from 1990 to 1996. This study is a part of a joint
Canadian, Icelandic and Norwegian project attempting to
estimate consistently government expenditures on fisheries
and fisheries management in these three countries and,
subsequently, to compare these expenditures.
