Abstract	In this paper, we study the short run price dynamics of imported fresh, farmed Atlantic and Pacific salmon on US regional markets. An Error Correction framework is used to specify a short run model. The results show a substitute relationship among the different salmon species in that an adjustment process corrects for disequilibrium errors (i.e. deviations from the long run equilibrium). However, in the short run, individual prices show substantial independence in price variation.
