  • This edition contains research updates and a comprehensive list of publications summarizing research conducted by faculty of the Oregon Wine Research Institute at Oregon State University. Dr. Patty Skinkis, OSU Viticulture Extension Specialist and Professor, opens the newsletter with an article on canopy yield management. Dr. James Osborne, OSU Enology Extension Specialist and Associate Professor, discusses the importance of effective microbial monitoring in preventing microbial spoilage.
