Abstract
  • GIS and other geographic mapping tools have become an integral part of our society for disseminating spatial infonnation to assist in making informed land planning decisions. Disc golf is a recreation activity, most commonly found on public lands, which utilizes the natural landscape in a manner that enhances its enjoyment. By combining GIS capabilities and spatial data with the information available for disc golf it is possible to optimize the landscape design and location of future disc golf recreation sites.
