Abstract
  • Corvallis has been growing steadily in terms of population and functions of the city while the biotic resources of the immediate environs have declined. This study sought to examine land use changes of North Corvallis rural-urban fringe area between 1963 and 1978 by interpreting the changes from aerial photographs. The study explains the amount of land use changes, spatial distribution of changes and physical quality of land being changed in terms of soil capability and topography.
