Abstract
  • Measurements have been made of γ -γ directional correlations on the following cascades, following the decay of ¹¹¹Pd and ¹⁰⁹Pd : In ¹¹¹Ag : (454, 633, 762 - 391) keV (526, 797 -633) keV (526, 797 -[633] -391) keV In ¹⁰⁹Ag : (390, 413, 424, 551, 558 - 311) keV (309, 448, 454 - 415) keV The following E2/M1 mixing ratios have been determined £(633) = 0.350(29) £(526) = -0.256(130) 9(797) = -0.153(96) £(454) = -0.013(46) £(762) = -0.187(44) in ¹¹¹Ag £(390) = 0.229(51) £(551) = -0.238(36) T(448) = 0.105(118) in ¹⁰⁹Ag while the following transitions, in ¹⁰⁹Ag, have been identified as El: 424 keV and 558 keV In for the 1023 keV level in ¹¹¹Ag has been identified as 7/2⁻.
