Abstract	A general survey of mink farming practices in Oregon was made from visits to fur farms and by the raising of these animals at the Oregon State College Experimental Fur Farm. A history of mink farming in Oregon is presented. Special attention is given to ranch organization, equipment and housing of mink. The feeding schedules used by the most successful mink farmer in the State are outlined. Practices used in rearing young are presented and some data on inheritance characteristics is included. The general practices of preparing pelts and methods of marketing are explained.
