Abstract	The enclosed thesis presents an algorithm, programmed in FORTRAN IV, which generates the radii for the objective of an astronomical refracting telescope. The results are analyzed by the Trigonometric Ray Trace, and found to have tolerable amounts of spherical aberration, chromatic aberration and coma.
