Abstract
  • This study sought to understand the high needs of Asian American youth mental health, particularly in Linn and Benton Counties, Oregon. An anonymous online Qualtrics survey was sent out to collect quantitative and qualitative data from this region’s mental health providers. Questions focused on how mental health providers perceived their own services. Participant data was analyzed utilizing reflexive thematic analysis, which revealed three main themes: (1) successful service provision, (2) improvements needed, and (3) ongoing barriers persist. Each of the main themes consisted of three sub themes respectively. These themes provided insights into the current successes and challenges of Asian American youth mental health provision.
