Abstract	This 1957 progress report will be concerned with results of the use of herbicides on pole beans, sweet corn, and table beets in trials at Corvallis. The plots were evaluated for effectiveness of weed control by these herbicides as well as their effects on yield. These results are to be considered preliminary and are not proposed recommendations. Further work will be needed to verify these results under various conditions before recommendations can be made.
