Abstract
  • This compilation by the School of Oceanography of Oregon State University lists in chronological order the oceanographic reports published in 1977. It also lists theses for which degrees were awarded in 1977. This is the fourth annual update of our refer­ence 74-1 which brought together a listing of all the numbered series issued, 1955-1975 and theses accepted 1962-1973. Annual updates are expected to continue and to contain additions and corrections to previous compilations. Reports are described as Data Reports, Research Reports, Reprints, and Contract Reports. Further descriptors are occasionally given. Report availability varies. Some reports are available only to libraries and oceanographic institutions. Many are out of print. Contract Reports are not available for distribution. The School of Oceanography also issues an annual Collected Reprints by staff and students. Volume 1 covers 1956-1962; volumes 2 through 12 cover 1963 through 1973 (volumes 9 and 10 were each issued in two parts); volume 13 is in preparation. The reprints included in this listing are identified by reprint CR and a number indicating volume and part if available. For complete details, refer to the indicated volume of Collected Reprints, available at most oceanography institutions and libraries.
