  • Having considered in a preceding circular the details of Garden Management I., including treatises on such phases of vegetable growing as seeds and seeding, soil preparation and fertilization, transplanting, etc., the following discussion deals with the problems confronting the gardener in caring for the vegetable garden. It is to be hoped that every young gardener will make extra efforts to make exhibits of produce grown and to this end special directions are written for the preparation of vegetables for market and the exhibition table.
