Abstract	This publication is the second in a series of circulars designed to assist the graduate engineer in reviewing engineering subject matter in order to prepare for registration examinations. As in the first publication of the series, most of the illustrative problems are taken from recent examinations of the Oregon State Board of Engineering Examiners. It is beyond the scope of these publications to give a detailed explanation of theoretical considerations and methods of analysis. For those who require additional study of specific subject material, a list of textbook references is included at the end.
