Abstract
  • This publication is the third in a series of circulars de signed to assist the graduate engineer in reviewing engin­eering subject matter in order to prepare for registration examinations. As in the first publication of the series, most of the illustrative problems are taken from recent examina­tions of the Oregon State Board of Engineering Examiners, and these problems are identified in the ,table of con tents according to the date of the examination and the number of the problem. It is beyond the scope of these publications to give a detailed explanation of theoretical considerations and meth­ods of analysis. For those who require additional study of specific subject material, a list of textbook references is included at the end.
