Yaquina Bay Resources

Estuaries are once again emerging as important ecosystems for scientific study. Consequently, knowledge of what research has been conducted helps us identify benchmarks and plan new projects. A comprehensive bibliography of published research, technical reports, local documents, and data sets is one means of recording this knowledge. Yaquina Bay, located in Oregon's Lincoln County, has been studied for decades, at times aggressively so. With the renewed interest in Yaquina Bay as a research site, Oregon Sea Grant and the Environmental Protection Agency generously funded the initiation of this bibliography in 1999. The staff of the Guin Library continues to add items to the bibliography.

Items are added to this ScholarsArchive collection if they are available in digital format and publicly accessible.

You can search the bibliography by geographic location with our map interface, by key words or author in the web version of the bibliography, or browse the text version. If using the web version, select the Yaquina Bibliography database and refer to the help for searching tips.
