Abstract	This project’s first aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of the IMPACT program on undergraduate volunteers’ acceptance and attitude towards working with children with disabilities. The second aim is identifying potential factors effecting the volunteers’ acceptance and attitude towards working with children with disabilities. The IMPACT program serves both as a community-based physical activity program for youth with special needs and as a service learning opportunity for many students at Oregon State University. The results will inform our program practice as well as provide generalizable knowledge to help design better “hands-on” service learning experiences.
