Abstract	This progress report covers the two-year period of April 1962-March 1964 in an attempt to make the reports current. In it, you can find analysis of softshell clam populations in multiple bays, including Siuslaw, Nehalem, and Tillamook. This report includes counts for personal-use clam diggers, as well as clam digging data, and discusses surveys of other beaches for razor clams to lessen the pressure on Clatsop Beaches. It also briefly covers work on oysters, scallops, abalone, and intertidal non-food animals. Finally, this report explores the beginning of cooperative work with California to obtain additional information of crabs on the border.
