  • Palmer Patton was a student of color at Oregon Agricultural College (OAC) from 1916-1920. He received bachelors and masters degrees in agriculture. He was African-American but identified as white. This presentation explores Patton's life before, during and after his years at OAC. This presentation was made at OSU's Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center in Corvallis, Oregon, on February 24, 2020.
