Abstract:

The aflatoxins, carcinogenic and toxic mold metabolites of Aspergillus flavus, were isolated and determined in cottonseed meal and other feedstuffs. This new quantitative method uses an acetone soxhlet extraction to remove the toxins from the defatted meal.
