    Microgard, a commercially-available pasteurized fermented milk, was found inhibitory to gram negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas putida, some well-known foodborne pathogens (e.g. Salmonella, Yersinia and Aeromonas) and some fungi as revealed by an agar incorporation assay method.
