Objective: To evaluate the effect of Nelumbo Nucifera leaf water extract (NNLE) on insulinoma (RIN) cells induced by interleukin-1ß (IL-1ß) and interfer-on-g (IFN-γ), and injured pancreatic ß-cells induced by Streptozotocin (STZ) in rats.
