Organic Semiconductors : Incorporating Xylindein into (Opto)Electronic Devices

Abstract:: This research investigates the electronic properties of a fungi-derived pigment, xylindein as a novel sustainable material for organic electronics. Xylindein molecules were characterized in solution and in film. Absorption spectra and (photo)luminescence spectra were taken at various excitation wavelengths.
