Abstract:: Thermal decomposition of several di-p-toluenesulfonylhydrazones was studied. It was found that the carbene decomposition of tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanedione, di-p-toluenesulfonylhydrazone gave two products resulting from rearrangement.
