This is an introductory 4-H publication designed to help new members, parents, and volunteers understand basic information about Oregon 4-H, including the program’s mission, educational philosophy, and history.
4-H Adventures is an informal educational program designed for children in grades K-3. The 4-H Adventures program encourages children to have fun, develop friendships, and learn about their world. The program also aims to strengthen ties among children, families, and their larger communities.
The 4‑H Club Secretary:
• Records calendar of activities and meetings planned on page 3
• Prepares minutes of 4‑H meetings on lined notebook paper
• Lists all members on page 4; calls roll and records attendance
