Abstract
  • Gerald W. Williams Collection
  • The purpose of this work is to compile in a concrete and readable form the mass of material now available bearing on the history of the Ochoco National Forest, from the beginning of the original Reserve through the various changes of boundary to the National Forest as it now is. It is hoped that such a compilation will be of value should there be written in the future a history of the United States' National Forests, as wall as of general and local interest to Forest officers.
