Abstract
  • A solution of the heat conduction equation Δu = [superscript 1]/[subscript k] [superscript αu]/[subscript αt] is found for the case of a rectangular parallelepiped, when an initial temperature distribution is prescribed under certain conditions of the boundaries. Two cases are considered, the isothermic and the adiabatic. The problem is solved by the determination of the two Green's functions of the heat equation, This is achieved by the continued reflection of the source on the six walls of the parallelepiped.
