Abstract	In Foothills for Food and Forests, the International Hill Land Symposium, held at Oregon State University in April 1983. A trial was established at Pant-y-dwr hill center, 305 m 0.0. in mid-Wales (Munro et al., 1973), to study the effects of a wide range of methods on herbage production, feed quality and botanical changes. Results of observations in the 5th, 10th, and 15th year are presented here.
