Abstract
  • Presented at the annual meeting of the Northwest Archivists, this talk discusses the workflows deployed by the Oregon State University Libraries Special Collections and Archives Research Center (SCARC) to provide access to digitized moving images materials. The presentation also describes the ways in which SCARC intends to use new features being built into Oregon Digital to improve access through a greater presence in Oregon Digital as well as the Mountain West Digital Library and the Digital Public Library of America. In particular, the talk mentions the importance of oEmbed capability as well as OAI-PMH harvest out of Oregon Digital, as well as improved support for compound objects within the tool.
