Abstract	Evaluation of WealthWorks Northwest in Exploration & Construction Regions from 2014–2016. The need for rural economic development in Oregon is acute, and OSU Extension partnered with Rural Development Initiatives in to implement WealthWorks Northwest, a community-driven economic development planning framework, statewide. By pairing traditional education and outreach with grant funding, the program made tangible impacts to 23 small businesses across the state, supporting nine new jobs. Regions report organizational capacity is the largest barrier; OSU Extension can be a valued partner to local communities pursuing economic development.
