Abstract	Throughout history, the supply of foods necessary to bodily sustenance has been an engrossing if not altogether profitable occupation. Exception may be taken to the use of this term, but when we consider the number of laboring families whose first and greatest aim is to meet the call of the worn out tissues of their bodies for new building material and more of that which we call energy, to keep the body in its natural state of efficiency, we perceive at once that all of the principles, as of time, interest, and intensity of purpose, are also included in those guiding thoughts of their lives.
